Key Fob RepairMay include replacing the fob battery, push button, casing, and/or resetting/recoding. If parts are unavailable, we will replace the entire fob.4
Windscreen Wiper BladesCovers replacement if blades are worn out through normal wear and tear.1
Battery ReplacementCovers replacement of the 12V battery if it fails to start the vehicle due to normal wear and tear.1
Tyre RepairCovers punctures or tears caused by road hazards or debris. If the tyre is unrepairable, we will replace it. Each tyre impacted requires a separate service request.6
Tyre ReplacementCovers replacement if the tyre tread is 2mm or less through normal wear and tear. (Abnormal wear from burnouts, drifting, etc. is excluded.) Each impacted tyre requires a separate service request.4
Braking Systems ReplacementCovers brake pads, brake rotors, or drums that have worn out through normal usage.
Replacing both front and rear requires two separate requests.

Repair Orders - Our concierge is available 24/7 via email at concierge@carbucks.com.au to assist with lodging and managing repair orders. Carbucks Protect FAQs



Carbucks Protect is a wear and tear service contract that covers specific wear-
and-tear repairs or replacements for your vehicle’s key fobs, windscreen wiper
blades, 12V battery, tyres, and braking systems.


No, Carbucks Protect is not an insurance product. It provides repairs and
replacements for certain vehicle components but does not replace the need for
traditional car insurance.


Eligible vehicles must be roadworthy, registered, weigh less than 3.5 tonnes, and
be no older than seven years from their first registration date. Certain vehicle
types, such as electric cars, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles, are excluded.


You can purchase it at the time of buying a new or used vehicle from a
registered franchised dealer or within 30 days of taking delivery of the vehicle.


The plan lasts for 36 months.


The contract includes repair or replacement of key fobs, windscreen wiper blade
replacement, 12V battery replacement, tyre repair/replacement, and brake pad
or system replacement.


Yes, each service type has specific limits. For example, you can make up to 4 key
fob service requests and 6 tyre repairs over the contract period.


Each service request is capped at $1,000. Costs exceeding this amount must be
paid by you directly to the service provider.


No, services are only available within the period of the contract.


Additional services can still be organized, but you will need to cover the full cost
directly with the service provider.


Services do not cover damages caused by negligence, misuse, motor vehicle
accidents, or incidents that occurred before the contract started.


No, vehicles used for hire, rideshare, delivery services, or other commercial
purposes are not eligible.


No, damage to any window is not covered under the contract.


Services are typically conducted at the Home Dealership displayed in your
Carbucks App. Check Carbucks Concierge for specific details.


There is a one-time payment for the 36-month period of the contract. Your
dealer will inform you of the fee at the time of purchase.


Yes, a pro-rata refund is available if no services have been used. If you cancel
within 14 days and no services have been used, you are eligible for a full refund.


No, the contract requires a one-time upfront payment.


No, contracts cannot be transferred to a different vehicle. However, you may
transfer it to the new owner of your current vehicle (subject to approval).


You can call the Carbucks Concierge 24/7. Ensure you have your contract
number and vehicle details ready.

Simply link your credit or debit card to your Carbucks App, and when you pay for you purchase with your linked card at any of our participating Marketplace partners, you’ll earn the merchant’s cashback reward as advertised in the Carbucks App.


The program includes free windscreen repair for chips (up to 2.5 cm) and free tyre puncture repairs (up to 6mm puncture in the tread area). *


Members are eligible for one front windscreen repair, with damage up to 2.5 cm in diameter, valued up to $125. *


The benefit covers two separate tyre puncture repairs for damage in the tread area, with each repair valued up to $50. *


Repairs are provided at no charge up to the defined benefit limits. Any costs above the maximum benefit will be the member’s responsibility. *


All repairs must be performed at an approved Carbucks service provider or an authorized service centre designated by Carbucks.


The benefits are available only for vehicles that are roadworthy, legally registered, and meet specific eligibility criteria like Gross Vehicle Mass not exceeding 3.5 tonnes.


Yes. Vehicles used for farming, motorsport, rideshare, courier services, and certain vehicle types (e.g., motorcycles, buses, motorhomes) are excluded.


Members need to submit a work order repair request via the Carbucks App, after which approved service providers will perform the repair under the benefit’s terms. *


Carbucks REWARDS covers costs up to the benefit limit ($125 for windscreen repair and $50 per tyre repair). Any additional cost must be paid by the consumer. *
